Fantastic sailaway from Southampton, huge fireworks display as QM2 and QE left port, cold but bright.
Nicely settled into our stateroom and into ship’s routine. Found quite a few previous crew members who actually remembered us and, more to the point, our news and drinks orders!
Sea days passing happily and it’s great to be in Club Britannia for meals, where we can have them anytime instead of fixed sitting times. Weather warming up and sun getting stronger as we sail South.
Keeping up the deck exercise and we have no excuse for not swimming, the indoor pool is on our deck just down the corridor – but it means getting wet!
Cunard have made lots of improvements – must have read the comments forms!
Next stop Madeira tomorrow – maybe lunch at Reid’s?
